"CITY LIGHTS I" 5 x 7 in Oil on Panel by Nick Orban
City Lights I is a small 5 x 7 inch Night Time Oil Painting of the office building at 1000 Second Ave the corner of Second Ave and Spring Street in Downtown Seattle. The streets were wet that night and I wanted to capture the feeling of rain fall. I liked experimenting with scraping the palette knife over the wet oil paint and exposing the warm orange underpainting.
